Momentum’s Youth Academy has plenty of opportunities catering to a wide range of athletes who want to grow and develop in the sport. Through the diverse offerings of the Youth Academy, players can create their own personal season that will give the player and their families a perfect combination of quality instruction and flexibility. All Youth Academy programs are coed.

Beginner Level Players
- Usually age 12/under, 3rd-6th grade
- Just beginning volleyball, beginning of basic skill development
- Some or zero rec experience
- No experience at the club level
Intermediate Level Players
- Usually age 12/older, 6th-8th grade
- Some experience – rec and/or club
Foundations run from August to May occuring 2 nights/week (2 hours/week). Here, players will be exposed to basic skill development, core drills in the volleyball world, and game-like scenarios to connect all of the pieces. The consistency and quality allow families to establish a routine volleyball schedule, have flexibility and receive quality instruction on fundamentals of the game.
Mondays and Wednesdays 5-6pm
The purpose of the Fall Mizuno Prep League is to inspire and train young developing athletes in the game of volleyball. Our goal is to simulate the club experience within a 6-week season. We understand that a full club season is a big commitment for a lot of players and families. Mondays will be half skill lab/half team practice and Wednesdays will be competitive tournament-style play.
Players can sign up individually or as a team. Each player that participates will receive a Momentum Mizuno jersey for tournament play, with prizes at the end for the winning team. The Mizuno Prep League will continue to run YEAR-ROUND in 6-week sessions Players can practice and play 2x a week (6 weeks on, 2 weeks off) as an awesome alternative to a full club season.

Athletes need an opportunity to explore and create when introduced to a new sport. Foundations not only introduces the athletes to the fundamentals of the game, but it allows them to learn, make mistakes and grow in a fun and open environment. At this camp, players will learn the skills, concepts, and drills needed to prep them for a school or club season.
Youth Academy Summer Intensive is a focused 3-week program that is aimed at improving players skills in a short period of time. Youth Athletes will benefit from skill development, agility and strength training, deeper playing concepts and 6v6 experience. Throughout the progression, players will be pushed, have fun, grow and leave prepared to take on their next in the sport or upcoming tryouts.
