Athletes need an opportunity to explore and create when introduced to a new sport. The Foundations program not only introduces the athletes to the fundamentals of the game, but it allows them to learn, make mistakes and grow in a fun and open environment. At this camp, players will learn the skills, concepts and drills needed to prep them for a school or club season. After leaving camp, they’ll have the necessary foundation for wherever their volleyball journey takes them. For year-round FOUNDATIONS TRAINING, see our Youth Academy page!
The skills camp is geared towards refining the foundational skills that have been acquired through club, middle school or high school while adding on advanced level skills and concepts. These sessions will give the next level of understanding and performance to the athlete so they can make the jump in their development. Athletes will learn, discover and rep out the critical progressions for each skill set in a variety of environments. Each session will include a break down of the skills, that will then translate to a realistic environment to facilitate retention based learning. After this camp, they will have the knowledge and direction needed to match their work ethic and drive. Camps will be divided into two time slots to allow for High School (15s+) and Middle School (11s-14s) sessions.
