Athletes need an opportunity to explore and create when introduced to a new sport. Foundations Small Groups not only introduce the athletes to the fundamentals of the game, but it allows them to learn, make mistakes and grow in a fun and open environment. At this clinics, players will learn the skills, concepts, and drills needed to prepare and prep them for a school or club season.
The Momentum Intensive Setting Lab is designed to give setters the technical, tactical and physical foundation they need to be successful. Through drills, lots of reps, skill development, chalk talk and video, this 4-week program will give setters deeper insight into their role and develop them into leaders on and off the court. Whether you are a beginner, looking to improve accuracy and consistency or you are more advanced, looking to learn higher level concepts, this setting program will give you the tools to continue to progress as a setter! Mondays and Wednesdays coming soon…
The skills camp is geared towards refining the foundational skills that have been acquired through club, middle school or high school while adding on advanced level skills and concepts. These sessions will give the next level of understanding and performance to the athlete so they can make the jump in their development. Athletes will learn, discover and rep out the critical progressions for each skill set in a variety of environments. Each session will include a break down of the skills, that will then translate to a realistic environment to facilitate retention based learning. After this camp, they will have the knowledge and direction needed to match their work ethic and drive. Camps will be divided into two time slots to allow for High School (15s+) and Middle School (11s-14s) sessions.
Momentum’s 3-part Fall Prep Session is programmed to prepare athletes for their upcoming club season.
