WICHITA, Kan. — The Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) has announced that McPherson College freshman outside hitter Riley Bradbury (Highlands Ranch, Colo., Rock Canyon HS) has been named the league’s Volleyball Attacker of the Week for the Week ending Sept. 17, 2017.

Bradbury averaged 4.0 kills and 1.13 digs per set as the Bulldogs split a pair of league matches last week. She posted 15 kills in just 25 total attacks with five digs and an ace in a sweep of York on Wednesday, then had 17 kills and just two attack errors with an assist, four digs and a block assist in a five-set loss to RV Ottawa on Saturday afternoon.
Oklahoma Wesleyan’s Andrea Novakovic (Defender of the Week) and Sydney Garis (Setter of the Week) were also honored. The three student-athletes were selected by a vote of the conference’s sports information directors.
The Bulldogs, now 6-4 overall and 2-2 in the KCAC, host Tabor at 7 p.m. Wednesday to close out a three-match homestand before hitting the road for matches at Kansas Wesleyan (Friday) and Friends (Saturday) over the weekend.
McPherson College is a charter member of the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference and a part of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics.
