Jonathan enters the 2018 – 2019 season at Momentum for his 9th year. In his 25 years of coaching and 20 years of playing, Jonathan brings a strong understanding of the theories and strategies of the game, coaching experience at every age level and a true desire to see each player grow. He is IMPACT & Safesport certified. Jonathan is also a USAV CAP I and CAP II accredited coach.

Most recently, Jonathan, has completed coaching the Momentum 14 Jen team in the 2017-18 season to be the number one 3’s team in the Rocky Mountain Region, coached the Momentum 14 Jonathan team to Division 1 in the 2016-17 season and coached the Momentum 14-2s team to a 1st place finish in the Silver division at the Atlanta Big South national tournament.

Jonathan is a firm believer in the Learn by Doing philosophy. His top priorities are to train in those skills not proficient (Train Ugly), develop confidence in oneself both on and off the court and most importantly, stress the importance of education.

When not coaching, Jonathan works at his full time job with Oracle as a Support Analyst. He also belongs to a dart league where he plays at the A division level. Jonathan gave up playing volleyball a few years back, but may go back to it in the future.
