Brie enters the 2018-2019 season at Momentum for her 3rd year. In her 5 years of coaching and 12 years of playing, Brie brings compassion, dedication to the athletes she’s working with, and love for the game of volleyball. She is IMPACT and SafeSport certified.
Most recently, Brie assisted in coaching her 12’s team to a second-place finish at RMR Showdown in the 14’s division, five Division 1 RMR Power tournament wins, two bronze medal finishes at Colorado Crossroads National Qualifier and Show Me National Qualifier in the highest division, and finished in the Gold Bracket, tied for 5th, at the 2018 USAV Junior National Championships in Detroit, MI.
Brie is a firm believer in creating a safe space for players to have fun while learning to develop leadership skills, a strong work ethic, and love for the game. Her favorite aspect of coaching is the opportunity to be a mentor and role model for the athletes she works with while instilling passion for the game that brought her so many wonderful memories and friendships over the years. She aspires to empower young women to believe in themselves, trust their teammates, and enjoy working towards a common goal with their peers.
When not coaching, Brie works as a Physician Assistant at a pediatric practice in Denver. She enjoys being able to care for kids and create meaningful relationships with their families as they grow and develop into young adults. Brie also enjoys traveling, cheering on the Broncos, spending time with her chocolate lab, Hank, and continues to play indoor and grass volleyball in her free time.
